How to fix Google Play Store Not Working?
Google Playstore not working, is a common issue faced by its users. The problem may occur
while downloading new apps, as a result Play Store crashes and won’t open. If

How to
find where the root cause lies?
To make
sure that the problem is from your end and not from Google’s side, you need to
check the Play store status. If many users are facing the same issues, then the
problem may be from Google’s end. If you find that the problem is from side,
then you need to fix it. First of all, restart your phone, it is a quick fix
for many issues.
Check your internet
connection
Check your internet connection and
make sure that you are getting a good speed. Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data,
or vice versa. Now check and see if the problem is solved or not. Switch your
phone to "airplane mode" and back to normal again.
Reset your router to make sure that
you have a good connection.
Check your date and time settings
Google checks the date and time on your Android Smartphone's
for the Play Store. If the store is not able to find a time, it creates some
issues. Google's servers may find it hard to sync with your device and cause
your Play Store to stop working.
Go to the Settings in your Android
device. Tap on Date and Time, under System. Now you will be
able to see whether your phone is on the Automatic and
time date provided by your
network. If it is not, toggle it on.
If it is automatic and your Google Play Store is
still not working then, manually set the date and time. Turn off Automatic
date and time. Now enter the date and time with accuracy.
Now try to open Google play store, if it is still not
working, then see then next fix.
Check the Google apps
If you find that google Play Store
is frozen or glitching, swipe it away and force close it. Go to Settings and
click on Apps & notifications. click on See all apps and select the
Google Play Store. Click Force stop.
Now, to make sure that Google Play itself is up to
date and clean, use the
latest version of Google Play store.
Install the latest version of Google play store
If you find any latest version of Google play store,
update it immediately.
Clear Google Play store cache
By emptying the cache, you can get your Play store
working again. Go to settings and then apps or application manager. Go to
storage and click on clear cache.
Clear out Play store data
Deleting data from Google play store will set the app
back to track. This will also erase your files, settings, accounts, databases
and other information.
Reset your Google account on your device
If all the above fixes are not working then refresh
your Google account for your device. Go to settings, and click on accounts.
Select the Google account you want to remove and click on “remove account.”
Go back to settings and click on account. select add
account and follow the on-screen instructions to add your account again.
